Are you ready to play a key role in bringing innovative products to life? As a GBE Buyer, you’ll be at the heart of supplier strategy, cost optimization, and seamless project execution. What You’ll Do: New Product Introduction (NPI) & Value Engineering (VE) Take the lead as a Project Buyer, where you will: * Own the supplier selection process for NPI and VE/Resourcing projects, aligned with the global commodity strategy. * Drive project deliverables for your components — cost, APQP, milestones (Prototypes, ODT, PPAP, SOP + 6 months), and design compliance. * Identify and propose resourcing opportunities and contribute to fresh VE ideas within GBE projects. * Execute cost‑saving initiatives in VE, resourcing, and logistics to meet AOP targets. * Manage engineering changes post‑SOP and secure first‑year savings after supplier award. Mass Production Operations Become the go‑to Operation Supplier Contact (OSC) for your GBE: * Act as the main interface for plants on logistics, capacity, and quality topics — driving quick issue resolution with suppliers. * Support cross‑regional collaboration when components fall outside your OSC scope. * Handle OES and IAM topics for OEM‑active suppliers. * Validate and negotiate charge‑backs and support risk mitigation action plans. Strategy & Continuous Improvement Help shape our commodity strategy by: * Executing productivity objectives within your region. * Reviewing supplier performance, tracking actions, and ensuring consistent feedback to commodity teams. * Supporting requests related to trade, compliance, and sustainability data. Responsibilities

The GBE Buyer will lead supplier selection for new product introduction and value engineering projects while managing cost, quality, and project milestones. They will also serve as the primary operational contact for plants to resolve logistics, capacity, and quality issues with suppliers.
