Responsibilities The EP Lab CVT Charge, under the direction the of the director/manager person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a full time, day shift position eligible for a sign on bonus. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, LPN license, or Paramedic license. In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) Licensure/Certification/Registration American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications: -FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR -FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR -Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR -Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification -any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields BLS required ACLS required
Responsibilities
The CVT Charge monitors diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies to ensure safe patient care. They also serve as a scrub assistant within the EP Lab under the direction of the manager.
