This Position reports to:
Sales Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of ABB’s measurement and analytical products, systems, and services within a designated market or division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. ABB’s measurement and analytical portfolio delivers world-class solutions across industries, utilities, and municipalities, with products designed for easy configuration, integration, and maintenance. At the heart of industrial digital transformation, our smart instrumentation, analyzers, and digital tools enable customers to meet sustainability goals through accurate and reliable measurement. This role is contributing to the Measurement & Analytics business area, reporting directly to the Sales Manager UAE Cluster. Main stakeholders are customers across the Water & Waste Water, process Industries, O&G, channel partners, and internal teams within ABB divisions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You are highly skilled in sales methodologies, instrumentation and analytical market, with a focus on water and wastewater project
  • You have 7–10 years of experience in instrumentation and analytical sales, specifically in the Middle East region
  • Have established skills working as a sales professional with ABB’s measurement and analytical products, with a specialty in liquid analyzers
  • Highly adept in applying technical knowledge to customer solutions within the process industries
  • You are passionate about customer relationship management and innovative around business development strategies
  • Degree in Engineering – Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation
  • You are at ease communicating in English (Arabic speaking will be an advantage)
  • You don’t have any restrictions to work in the UAE and oversight countries
Responsibilities
  • Meeting or exceeding sales target based on the defined sales target
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, maintaining the relationship with existing customers and channel partners, and developing new accounts
  • Reporting the sales forecast on a regular basis and updating the sales pipeline
  • Having product knowledge in instrumentation and analytical and being able to explain the main benefits and application to customers
  • Supporting channel partner relationships and business plans, and developing a new channel to market
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt the sales strategy based on the market requirements
  • Collaborating within own and other divisions as part of teamwork and supporting the sales team technically on the specific CWA portfolio
  • Negotiating terms of sales agreement and closing deals
  • Developing new accounts and maintaining the relationship with existing customers and channel partners
