Company Description manufacturing company Job Description Manufacturing company that makes fabricated steel assemblies needs Certified Welding Inspectors, also called CWI. This is a day shift position. You will be responsible for onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads. Non Destructive Testing Inspector / Nondestructive evaluation (NDE Technician) experience All necessary testing and personal protection equipment will be provided by the company Should be experienced in inspection and test of structures and welds. Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI) preferred. Qualifications Certified Welding Inspector with at least three years’ experience. This is a position in manufacturing, but will consider people with construction, civil engineering, defense, marine, or aerospace experience. Must be able to identify components having cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects that would affect structural integrity. Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints. Proficiency with MS Office software and the ability to produce reports in desired formats is a must.
