As a Room Inspector at Courtyard, you’ll be the quality expert who ensures every room meets our highest standards while guiding and supporting the team behind the scenes. Duties/Responsibilities Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met or exceeded. Promptly report maintenance or service issues to the appropriate department and follow up to ensure resolution. Identify patterns in cleanliness or service issues and support the coaching and training of Room Attendants under the direction of department leadership. Assist Room Attendants by delivering needed supplies or providing hands-on support during peak times. Collaborate closely with the Front Desk to communicate room readiness and guest-specific requests in a timely manner. Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and supervisors to support overall department performance. Uphold confidentiality and security standards with regard to guest and hotel information. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and cleanliness. Solid leadership skills and the ability to effectively coach and motivate team members. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and comfort with hotel software or inspection checklists. Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments. High school diploma or equivalent required. Availability includes weekends and some holidays, according to business needs. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. as needed.
