THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently looking for self-directed, engaging, energetic Full-Time CYAC Coordinator & Child and Family Advocate to join our growing team. The Centre Coordinator/Advocate provides planning, coordination, evaluation and administration. Provides trauma-informed and culturally safe care to children and youth who have experienced abuse as well as their family members and supporters

HOURS OF WORK: Permanent, Full- time
37.5 Hours per week; flexible work schedule required
SALARY RANGE: CSSEA Wage Grid 14: $34.90 - $38.77 Hourly

VACATION: As per ESS policies

QUALIFICATIONS:
Asset: Should the Coordinator/Advocate take on Handler responsibilities for the Facility Dog:
i. Attend Facility Dog training centre for handler training as required. Take part in re-certification training and testing as required.
ii. Adhere to proper handling of the facility dog, particularly during interactions with children, youth and families, as well as staff/partners.
iii. Receive training on and oversee implementation of proper procedures, commands and courtroom decorum for facility dogs.
