REQUIREMENTS

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct real-time monitoring of security alerts and incidents to ensure swift identification and resolution of potential threats.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments to evaluate the strength of our network defences and propose appropriate remediation plans.
  • Analyse security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to configure and fine-tune security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-malware software.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on security procedures, guidelines, and incident response plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance our security posture.
  • Conduct security awareness training sessions for team members to foster a security-conscious culture.
  • Conduct regular security meetings with CT partners on a monthly basis

What You’ll Bring:

  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, cloud technologies and endpoint protection.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, security architectures, and information security frameworks.
  • Ideally experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and remediation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and respond quickly to security incidents.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications are beneficial (e.g., Tenable Vulnerability Management Specialist Course, SC-200, SC-100, SC-300).
