GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: As a Business Services Specialist I, you will support Aon’s EMEA Cyber broking teams with accurate data entry, billing support, and policy administration. This is an early‑career role suited to someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and structured processes, with clear growth opportunities into more complex and analytical work. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Enter, update, and validate policy and billing data in core systems. Support billing activities for assigned brokers by preparing and maintaining accurate invoices and related documentation. Help manage open billing items and contribute to on‑time month‑end completion under guidance from senior colleagues. Use Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, pivot tables) to organize data and support standard reports and management information. Follow Aon processes, procedures, and quality standards to minimize errors and omissions. Apply Aon’s data classification and encryption tools consistently to protect client and company information. Collaborate with brokers, account executives, and operations teams to respond to day‑to‑day administrative queries. Communicate clearly on task status and priorities to ensure smooth workflow within the team. Participate in process improvement discussions by identifying simple efficiency opportunities (for example, templates, better use of Excel or OneNote). Support and, as skills grow, help onboard and back up new Business Services Specialists on basic tools and procedures. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED 3–4+ years’ experience in a professional environment (finance, operations, insurance, data entry, or similar) or strong internship experience. Solid Excel skills for everyday data work (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, pivot tables). Proven attention to detail and comfort working with high‑volume, accuracy‑critical data. Ability to work with multiple systems and learn new tools quickly. Good written and verbal communication skills and an openness to feedback and coaching.
