REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Cyber Operations, Security Architecture, or AI Engineering
  • Must be able to obtain US Government security clearance.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Certifications in AI/ML technologies and Cloud platforms, such as AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist, or Azure Solutions Architect.
  • Experience working with GenAI applications or services.
  • Experience developing or management of Cloud Based Technologies
  • Experience implementing cloud-based AI/ML workloads on any of AWS, Microsoft, and Azure

Responsibilities

The AI Security Analyst for GPS Operations will work within Government Public Sector (GPS) Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor and manage AI enabled solutions and capabilities protecting our Firm and our clients.
The AI Cyber Security Analyst for GPS Operations will support monitoring, testing, and the maintenance of AI solutions used to deliver world class cyber security services and capabilities. This role is pivotal in leveraging Data and AI technologies, requiring an advanced understanding of Cyber Security, Governance, Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Multimodal models. The AI Security Analyst will provide subject matter expertise, insight, and develop cyber models and procedures that will build and sustain Cyber Security excellence in AI.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, collaboration, cyber, teaching, governance, and management of industrial AI/ML/Generative AI applications. Experience and problem-solving skills will be essential to monitor the latest AI and Cyber solutions, and improve the AI/ML development, delivery, and operations processes. The AI Cyber Security Analyst role requires an understanding of best practices and industry standards from Cyber Security, Software Engineering, DevOps, MLOps, and LLMOps. The AI Cyber Security Analyst role requires a unique blend of AI technical expertise and the ability to deliver or enhance Cyber Security to Deloitte and our clients.

Strategic Alignment and Vision

  • Support GPS Cyber Operations AI/ML/GenAI technical direction, service delivery, and support alignment to organizational goals and digital transformation efforts.
  • Express operational requirements into realistic technical implementations, while identifying misaligned initiatives and impractical use cases

Engineering Design and Technology Selection

  • Support the deployment of Cyber Security and AI technologies integrating with existing tools and capabilities.
  • Understand and contribute to MLOps and LLMOps, focusing on operational capabilities and security infrastructure.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Application Owners, Developers, and Engineers to deliver security event monitoring.
  • Gather inputs from multiple stakeholders to align technical implementation to known Federal, state, and DoD requirements.

Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

  • Be responsible for the successful execution of AI-powered applications using agile methodology.
  • Audit AI tools and practices across data, models, and software engineering, focusing on continuous improvement and feedback mechanisms.

Risk Management and Ethical Considerations

  • Work closely with Cyber Security and Application Engineers to foresee and mitigate risks, ensure ethical AI implementation and compliance with established standards, norms, and regulations.
  • Address potential issues such as training data poisoning, AI model theft, and adversarial samples.

Cyber Security and GPS Business Understanding

  • Help Cyber Security and GPS Stakeholders understand the potential and limitations of AI when reviewing, testing, or integrating AI solutions.
  • Create or review Cyber Security use-cases and broaden our collective understanding of leading AI technologies, analytics methods, tools, and operating models.
