The Cyber Information Assurance Analyst III provides support to DISA/RE in the area of Endpoint Security. This position works in close association with the SISO. This position supports the Cyber Operations team lead to identify and address deficiencies in Endpoint Security. This position assists customers internal to the agency in resolving endpoint security issues and recommends solutions to bring their systems/networks/architectures into compliance with endpoint requirements.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Top Secret level.
  • Certification at the IAM Level I is required, this can include: CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, or HCISPP.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years of experience in systems security, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Creates and maintains simple, multifaceted, and complex ESS ad-hoc and recurring queries, reports, and dashboards. Creates and executes simple ad-hoc queries, reports, and dashboards for weekly cybersecurity reports or mission needs.
  • Reviews, correlates, and resolves all discrepancies between reports and source data.
  • Monitors ESS consoles for data collection to perform periodic analysis of adverse network activity, e.g., below standard utilization trends for the Cybersecurity scorecard.
  • Monitors DISA ESS consoles daily to provide compliance statuses of DISA networks/systems for situational awareness.
  • Coordinates with ESS stakeholders, DISA ISSMs, ESS POCs, PMs, and DISA principal directors for resolution of ESS compliance requirements.
  • Coordinates and reports stakeholders’ ESS compliance status reports in format specified by Government.
  • Develops weekly ESS status briefings.
  • Provides content and maintain DISA ESS Compliance Program web presence on the DISA DEPS site.
  • Attends weekly meetings and working groups as RME’s ESS subject matter expert (SME).
  • Summarizes the pertinent ESS activities, discussions, and decisions generated through the attended meeting and working group and inform Government Lead.
  • Attends weekly meetings and working groups as policy and guidance SMEs.
