Responsibilities & Qualifications Responsibilities Review Windows Server configurations, GPOs, and domain controllers for STIG compliance. Assess virtualization platforms (VMWare ESXi, VDI, Nutanix) for secure deployment. Validate patch management, authentication, and access control mechanisms. Review containerization platforms (Windows containers) for secure configuration. Provide technical support for STIG implementation and ATO documentation. Deliver assessment reports and actionable remediation recommendations. Qualifications Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Education: BS in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience. Experience: 8–10 years in Windows systems engineering or cybersecurity. Required Certifications: DoD 8140/8570 IAT III (CASP+, CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent). Desired Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP. The successful CORA Lead Team Reviewer will support mission needs, multi-domain assessment coverage, and is expected to cross-train into multiple functional disciplines and support operational needs. Overview The Windows Systems Engineer/Reviewer will assess Windows-based infrastructures, including Active Directory, DNS, and virtualization platforms, for compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards. When not performing assessments, this role will assist DTRA sites with STIG application, vulnerability remediation, and ATO support. Responsibilities include securing containerized workloads in hybrid environments and enforcing internal security controls. As part of a DCDC-certified CORA team, the Windows Reviewer will provide detailed assessment reports and recommendations for addressing findings.
