Job Type: Contract (2 years)
Work Type: 3 days per week on site

Required experience :

  • 10+ years of project management experience, including a minimum of 5 years delivering complex business and technology transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience in implementing major cyber security projects, with a strong understanding of risk, compliance, and resilience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage integrated teams comprising internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and lead change across the organization.
  • Strong adaptability in dynamic business environments with multiple competing priorities.
  • A highly analytical mindset, capable of proposing effective technology and process solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Proficient in structured project management methodologies, covering the full project lifecycle and tools such as MS Project and Jira.
  • Experience working within a hybrid delivery framework, combining Agile and Waterfall approaches as appropriate.Degree-level education, ideally complemented by a professional project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
Responsibilities

Working with a client in the aviation sector, you will lead a multi-year programme focused on delivering new technologies, processes, and capabilities to protect critical infrastructure, data, and digital assets. Candidates must have strong Technical Project Manager skills, with a record of delivering large-scale, complex programmes, ideally including Cyber Security projects. This role will lead a cross-functional project team, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful delivery. There will be a dedicated Technology lead and IT Architecture lead on the programme, and the role will work under the guidance of a Senior Programme Manager.
