QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Technical certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience with security monitoring tools, such as SIEM systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and firewalls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address security vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other IT teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Experience with incident response and forensic analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze the organization’s network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization’s IT assets.
  • Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and preparing incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement security solutions and initiatives.
  • Provide security awareness training to employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
