Description

Looking for a role with more variety, technical ownership and exposure beyond traditional end-user support? Based in South Brisbane, this is a hands-on Level 2/3 position within a busy, customer-focused environment where you'll take ownership of technical issues while also contributing to infrastructure, networking, cyber security and broader technology projects.

You'll work across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoints and the wider technology environment, troubleshooting complex issues and working directly with stakeholders and vendors. You'll also have the opportunity to further develop your cyber security capability. As part of your professional development, you'll receive mentoring and skills development in this area, alongside practical involvement in cyber security remediation and improvement initiatives.

We're looking for an experienced technical professional who can investigate and resolve complex issues independently, take ownership through to resolution and provide a high level of technical support across the organisation.

The role

This is a varied position where you'll work directly with people across the organisation, taking ownership of technical issues and seeing them through to resolution.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support across the organisation.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID and endpoint environments.
  • Provision and configure laptops, mobile devices and other end-user technology.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, access and shared mailboxes.
  • Support Intune and endpoint management activities.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, application and connectivity issues.
  • Investigate and resolve more complex technical escalations.
  • Support networking and infrastructure environments.
  • Assist with cyber security remediation and improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to infrastructure and technology projects.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors and specialist support teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and the end-user technology experience.

About you

You'll be an experienced IT professional who enjoys solving problems, working with people and taking ownership.

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong Level 2/3 IT support experience with the capability to troubleshoot more complex issues.
  • Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with Entra ID or Active Directory.
  • Experience provisioning and supporting laptops, mobile devices and endpoints.
  • Experience with Intune or similar endpoint management tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and connectivity.
  • Some exposure to networking, infrastructure, cyber security or technology projects.
  • The ability to investigate and resolve issues independently while knowing when to escalate.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

This is a customer-facing technology role, so you'll need to be confident dealing with people at all levels of the organisation, explaining technical issues clearly and providing a high level of service.

Why join?

You'll be joining an environment where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership, work across a broad range of technology and continue developing your skills.

  • Up to $130,000 + super, depending on experience.
  • Varied role with a mix of support, problem-solving and project work.
  • Work with a broad range of stakeholders across the organisation.
  • South Brisbane location.
  • Four days in the office and one day working from home.
