JOB SUMMARY:

As a Cyber Security Analyst at Cloud Web Solutions, you’ll play a critical role in analysing, assessing, and strengthening our organization’s cybersecurity posture. You’ll identify vulnerabilities in our information systems, investigate and mitigate security threats, implement robust countermeasures, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Your expertise will help us safeguard our software, hardware, and network infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity and data integrity.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Experience: 1 -to 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or incident response.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools, technologies, and methodologies, such as:
    Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
  • Firewalls and network security
  • Encryption protocols and technologies
  • Vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
    Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.

Responsibilities
  • Vulnerability Analysis and Assessment: Analyze and assess vulnerabilities across our IT infrastructure, including software applications, hardware devices, network configurations, and cloud environments.
  • Incident Response: Investigate security threats, breaches, and incidents; assess damage and determine root causes.
  • Security Tool Implementation: Evaluate, recommend, and implement security tools, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, encryption protocols, and vulnerability scanning technologies.
  • Cyber Threat Analysis: Conduct cyber threat analysis, penetration testing, malware analysis, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Recovery and Restoration: Examine and deploy recovery tools and processes to restore affected systems and data.
  • Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on incidents, vulnerabilities, system updates, and security changes.
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor security systems, SIEM platforms, and network activity to identify potential security threats.
