Job Description We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst with a strong foundation in identifying, analysing, and mitigating cyber threats. Passionate in monitoring alerts, conducting vulnerability assessments, and responding to security incidents to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity. Seeking to leverage technical expertise and a proactive mindset to strengthen the organisation's cyber security and support its overall risk management strategy and mitigate risk. Respond to security alerts, escalations, and incidents in a timely manner. Oversee vulnerability scanning processes to validate the effectiveness of patching efforts. Arrange and support security penetration testing initiatives. Monitor external information sources and provide recommendations on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to our environment. Assess, plan, and coordinate patch management activities for internal systems and hardware. Evaluate and recommend server hardening measures for implementation by the Infrastructure Team. Assist with the configuration of email and internet security solutions. Ensure all security configurations comply with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus standards. Complete assigned tasks in accordance with cyber security best practices. Adhere to company health and safety policies and applicable legislation.
