QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 yrs cybersecurity; Security+ required.
  • CISSP/CISM/GSEC preferred; NIST 800‑53/RMF knowledge.
  • Scripting/automation beneficial.
  • Former law enforcement supervision & veterans — highly preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship & ability to obtain a Federal Law Enforcement background check.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Supports ATO‑compliant operations, vulnerability management, and incident response in FLETC environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Monitor SIEM; triage alerts and investigate incidents.
  • Vulnerability scanning/remediation (e.g., Tenable/Nessus).
  • STIG/CIS hardening; endpoint compliance (EDR).
  • POA&M tracking; RMF documentation with ISSO.
  • User security support (MFA, phishing); surge IR support.
