MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Cybersecurity Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Department of State. You will play a crucial role in cyber security and network monitoring. HOW A NETWORK OPERATION CENTER ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT ● Monitor system performance and availability using system monitoring tools. ● Perform initial triage of system alerts to determine their severity and impact. ● Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner, diagnosing and resolving system issues. ● Perform routine maintenance tasks such as firmware upgrades, patch management, and configuration changes. ● Escalate incidents to higher-tier technicians or engineering teams as necessary. ● Document incident details, actions taken, and lessons learned for future reference and analysis. ● Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. The likely salary range for this position is $79,747 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
