Description
Global-e is looking for a hands-on Cyber Security Analyst - Incident Response and Investigations with a strong focus on incident response, incident investigations, and security automation. You will be the main point of contact for cyber security service requests, working closely with security tools and operational processes to detect, analyze, and contain threats. The role includes real investigative work, operational ownership, and opportunities to automate and improve existing workflows within a global high-tech environment. Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end cyber incident response, from alert triage to containment and recovery • Conduct detailed investigations of suspicious activity, alerts, and security events • Automate repetitive tasks, improve workflows, and strengthen detection capabilities • Refine existing monitoring rules and create new rules to identify abnormal or risky behavior • Operate and investigate across multiple security systems such as EDR, AV, FW, Email Security, IPS, and WAF • Analyze and respond to DLP alerts • Produce clear intelligence summaries and incident reports • Handle security-related service requests and provide guidance to stakeholders • Support both reactive incident handling and proactive threat hunting Requirements • Fluent English • Cyber defense certification, graduation from a cyber training program, or proven IT experience • Experience using or investigating through EDR, AV, FW, Microsoft Defender suite, IPS, or WAF is an advantage • Experience handling or investigating cyber incidents is an advantage • Ability to respond to urgent incidents outside regular work hours • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain findings clearly • Natural curiosity, analytical thinking, and a desire to investigate and learn • Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and motivation to be part of a high-impact security team
