PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIAC.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GLBA, GDPR, CCPA).
  • Experience with GRC platforms (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC).
  • Understanding of user identity, access, and authentication processes
  • Familiarity with cloud application risk management tools and processes.
  • Background in financial services, banking, or highly regulated environments.
  • Proficient understanding of security standards and best practices
  • Self-motivated to identify problems, set goals, and handle multiple tasks

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with exposure to both technical and GRC domains.
  • Experience with risk management methodologies and regulatory compliance practices.
  • Proficiency in developing and reviewing security policies and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud application security, data protection, and identity & access management.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across network, endpoint, and cloud environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security reviews for applications, systems, and internal processes.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely remediation of findings.
  • Assist with compliance assessments against frameworks such as FFIEC, GLBA, PCI, and NIST.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure secure system design and data protection.
  • Assist in the development and execution of security awareness training programs.
  • Track and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and security metrics for leadership.
  • Monitor and respond to security events, vulnerabilities, and incidents as necessary.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
  • Performs any additional duties as needed.
