    About the role
    We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst with a strong passion for threat analysis and a proven ability to assess and respond to security incidents to join our team. This is a permanent position based at our Perth CBD office.

You will be accountable for the following:

  • Analyse security alerts, threat intelligence feeds, identify relevant threats to Iluka, and implement appropriate countermeasures
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, suspicious activity, including phishing attacks, malware infections, and data breaches
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation efforts (e.g., patch management, configuration changes)
  • Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and best practices
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures, participating in incident response activities (such as containment, eradication, and recovery), and conducting post-incident reviews to recommend improvements to security controls

About you

To be successful for this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CEH)
  • Demonstrated experience in a Cyber Security Analyst role
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, along with familiarity with key industry frameworks such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MITRE ATT&CK
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
