Your Mission

• Monitor the organization’s networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions
• Detect and respond to threats or security incidents by analysing and studying data from various incident reports and alerts
• Participate in regular audits to ensure that systems and networks are operating securely
• Recommend and implement security tools to enhance network and system security
• Advise in development and implementation of security policies and protocols
• Manage penetration testing & vulnerability assessments to identify vulnerability risk
• Provide technical advice to colleagues and staff to ensure secure network environments
• Stay updated on the latest intelligence, including hackers’ methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches
• Participate in the change management process, advising on possible security risks
• Train staff in security awareness and procedures

Your Talents

• Computer science education or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of experience in a SOC or other incident response area
• Working knowledge of network protocols, firewalls and routing
• Good understanding of endpoint management, EDR & troubleshooting
• Attention to detail, creativity and good communication skills
• Experience with systems engineering or IT systems a plus
• Experience with cloud service providers (esp. Azure) helpful but not necessary
• Scripting knowledge with PowerShell, bash or python a bonus
