JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization’s information systems by implementing security measures and monitoring network traffic for potential threats. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, as well as experience with various networking protocols and security frameworks.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in network engineering or cybersecurity roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems is essential for managing security configurations.
  • Knowledge of LDAP for directory services management is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to WAN connectivity and security protocols.
  • Experience working with various cybersecurity tools and technologies is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and maintain security measures in accordance with industry standards such as ISO 27000 and FedRAMP.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to configure and secure network devices, including routers and switches using protocols such as BGP, DHCP, and SSH.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
  • Utilize shell scripting to automate routine tasks and enhance system security.
  • Provide support for incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents.
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the organization remains secure.
