Cyber Security GRC Analyst

12-month contract | Extensions available

Location: ACT | Hybrid flexibility

Rate: $130-$135 per hour including super

Clearance: NV1 ( active or inactive)

Hours: Up to 45 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security GRC Analyst to support a major Federal Client.

About You

You will bring experience in cyber security governance, risk, assurance, technology delivery or complex government transformation, with the ability to translate technical and security considerations into clear business requirements and executive-level documentation.

• This is a delivery-focused role supporting cyber security governance, risk and assurance activities.
• The position will suit someone who can operate confidently across technical teams, governance forums and senior stakeholders in a complex and highly regulated environment. 

You will ideally have:

• Experience in cyber security GRC, security assurance, risk or technology governance.
• Understanding of security frameworks, assurance processes and risk management.
• Experience supporting or coordinating IRAP, penetration testing or security assessments.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Proven ability to prepare materials for senior executives and governance forums.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working in Australian Government or other highly regulated environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NV1 security clearance.
