About the Role: As a Cyber Security Architect in C4i Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, governing, and assuring secure enterprise architectures across infrastructure, applications, cloud, and operational technology environments. You will provide strategic security direction and ensure security is embedded by design across all technology initiatives. You will act as the technical interface and key stakeholder to our clients and partners. The role is located onsite in Sydney, CBD. About the role: Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture aligned to the business strategy and overall risk appetite. Design secure network, cloud, application, and data architectures (on-premise and hybrid environments). Define security patterns, standards, and reference architectures. Lead threat modelling and security design reviews for new and existing systems. Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical security controls. Ensure alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, Essential Eight, and Zero Trust principles. Provide architectural oversight for identity and access management (IAM), encryption, PKI, and privileged access. Guide secure cloud adoption (e.g. Azure, AWS, M365 environments). Embed Dev Sec Ops and secure by design principles across delivery teams. Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. Support security accreditation and assurance activities. Advise senior stakeholders on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, SOC teams, and IT Operations. Contribute to incident response strategy and security improvement roadmaps. About you: Australian citizen (required for Defence projects) with a min AGSVA NV1 clearance. The ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance is preferred. Experience working in complex Defence project settings. A BACH Degree (Relevant to the role) or significant experience. Industry certifications highly regarded. Familiar with ISM, DSPF, PSPF. Communicates clearly and confidently, both written and verbal. Is highly organised with strong attention to detail. Builds positive relationships and manages stakeholders effectively. Works well independently and takes initiative. Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Adapts easily to change and works well in a team environment. Why Join Us?
