We are expanding our commercial team to support continued Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) growth across new and existing clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in Cyber Security business development and account management, with a track record of securing new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Strong understanding of platform-based business models and recurring revenue strategies.
  • Ability to articulate the value of AI-driven Cyber Security solutions to both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience managing full sales cycles and maintaining client relationships post-sale.
  • Skilled in identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities and securing renewals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong pipeline management and revenue forecasting ability.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales as a BDM, AM or AE role. Ideally the candidate would have experience within a cyber security vendor, MSSP or MSP.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security services such as Managed Detection & Response, vulnerability management and compliance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a client-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to grow accounts and influence long-term platform adoption.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Cyber Security Business Development Manager (BDM) at CybaVerse, you will play a hybrid role that combines new business acquisition with ongoing account management. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting new prospects on to the CybaVerse AI platform users while managing and growing existing client accounts.
This is a hands-on commercial role focused on driving MRR by acquiring new clients and maximising retention, expansion, and satisfaction within your portfolio. You will lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery through to closing and remain involved to ensure long-term success, upselling, and renewals.
We are seeking a proven Cyber Security sales professional who is confident in both winning new business and strengthening existing client relationships, with a passion for platform-based sales and long-term customer value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and engage high-value prospects within our ICP.
  • Own the full new business sales cycle from initial outreach to close.
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts to ensure satisfaction, renewal, and revenue growth.
  • Deliver tailored platform demos and strategic proposals aligned to client needs.
  • Drive new MRR growth and expand recurring revenue through cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all sales activity, client updates, and pipeline forecasting.
  • Collaborate with delivery and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and an exceptional client experience.
