Working in our emerging and growing cybersecurity capability, you will work closely with clients across our teams. Mantel presents a cohesive, integrated cybersecurity capability, bringing together security specialists with our broader cloud, data, and digital teams. Our capabilities span governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), cyber engineering, and offensive security, enabling large-scale cyber security initiatives for our clients. About the role Our Cyber Security team supports clients in building a culture of Security awareness driven through real-time continuous assurance, integrated tooling, preventative controls and well managed business and technology risk. In this role, you will be working closely with clients to assist them in optimising and re-engineering their Security Operations Centre. This position will cover a wide remit including client engagements, stakeholder management and delivery of solutions. It also requires the ability to integrate and configure security tools into new or existing software delivery pipelines and would suit someone looking to focus on the engineering side and deepen their cyber security skills, with exposure to a broad range of different environments. Your day-to-day: Security Operations Centre enablement, optimisation and automation, working with Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle and other leading SIEM and SOAR providers Cloud Security - reviewing, designing and implementing secure solutions on one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google) Identity, Access, and privileged access management working with solutions such as Entra, Okta, PingIdentity, Saviynt, Sailpoint and CyberArk Software Security Integration with developer build tools such as Github Actions, AWS CodeBuild, GCP CloudBuild, Buildkite, etc Software security posture assessment using tools and frameworks such as OWASP-SAMM, SAST, DAST, SCA, CNAPP, SSPM and CSPM Threat and Vulnerability management, using solutions such as WatchTower, Palo Cortex Cloud, Snyk, Wiz, Orca, Wiz, Prisma Cloud and others Conduct Security Review Processes for: Security Architecture, Design Secure Coding and Security Testing Use professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion, and a demonstrated ability to display our five Mantel principles What you’ll need to be successful: Willingness to continually upskill; including learning new technologies and obtaining new certifications Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills Bring a positive can-do attitude to the team, with a developer-friendly problem solving orientation (shifting security left) Hands on experience working in a Security Operations Centre or similar security operations role with SIEM and SOAR tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, Phantom, XSoar and others Hands-on experience implementing security solutions Certifications in either Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Service Edge (SSE) Engineer, PSE-Prisma Cloud / Certified Cloud Security Professional or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
