Responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Design Expert (f/m/d) in the Defensive Architecture Design team within SAP Global Security and Cloud Compliance (SGSC), you will define security requirements, develop end-to-end security architectures, and contribute to securing SAP’s enterprise, products, and services. You will also support the Head of Defensive Architecture Design in strengthening SAP’s security posture.

In your role, you will:

  • Serve as a trusted security advisor for SAP teams, focusing on IAM Security
  • Provide expert guidance in IAM security topics
  • Define security requirements, develop security standards, hardening guidelines, and reference architectures.
  • Lead and coordinate security projects across SAP departments.
  • Engage with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP and IBM) and vendors (Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.) to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Participate in conferences, security workshops, and advanced security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, etc.).
  • Cloud certifications a plus such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Google Professional Cloud Architect
