• Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support security assurance and accreditation activities, including ATO preparation, risk assessments and security control validation.
• Conduct structured assessments aligned to ISM, Essential Eight, DSPF and broader Defence security requirements.
• Provide clear, confident engagement with Army HQ, MSPs and Commonwealth stakeholders Review vulnerabilities, remediation approaches and technical risks, providing pragmatic guidance to engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain security artefacts including risk registers, control assessments, accreditation documentation and evidence packs.
• Support secure design reviews, uplift activities and Defence‑aligned cyber governance practices.

• About YouNV1 clearance (current and active).
• Strong Defence cyber/security background — Army/Land
• Demonstrated capability across security assurance, accreditation, ATOs, risk assessments and security controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement — able to operate confidently with senior Defence stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of ISM, Essential Eight, Defence security requirements and accreditation processes.
• Enough technical depth to understand vulnerabilities, risks and remediation pathways without needing to be a deeply hands‑on engineer.
