SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our IT and Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, management, and enhancement of the technologies that drive our internal and managed services.
We require candidates who possess a comprehensive understanding of a variety of tools including web application firewalls, intrusion detection technologies, vulnerability scanners, and SIEMs, as well as the technical acumen to integrate these tools effectively to enhance our protection.
The ideal candidate will also have a thorough understanding of the security tooling available in Azure and will collaborate with the Product Development teams on their implementation. We are seeking an individual who is pragmatic, has a solid understanding of business risks and practical mitigation strategies, can maximize the utility of available tools, solve problems creatively, and maintain the needs of our internal customers as a top priority.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Security Tools
  • Familiarity with on-premise and Cloud (Azure) infrastructure, including networking and firewalls
  • Experience with Incident Response processes and tools
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and IaC
  • Expertise in Threat Intelligence
  • Experience working with ISO27001

Responsibilities
  • Enhance and manage the Security Portfolio
  • Review, update, and implement Incident Response playbooks and processes
  • Enhance security in Office 365 and Azure by updating and implementing tools to enable detection and response to incidents, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations
  • Collaborate with Developers on integrating Security within Product Development processes
  • Deploy new security tooling
  • Support the Information Security Manager with ISO27001 accreditation, as well as current and future compliance and regulatory needs.
