Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding our company’s data, systems, and networks from cyber threats. You will be involved in working with a variety of technologies, including Firewalls, Web Security, Email Security, EDR, WAF, and SIEM.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Design, implement, and enhance cyber security solutions across the bank.
  • Generate concise vulnerability assessment reports and provide guidance for effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security Team to investigate and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Utilise SIEM tools to monitor and analyse network traffic, system logs, and security event data to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Develop and write new detection rules using SIEM to enhance threat detection capabilities.
  • Perform triage of security incidents and analyse suspicious or malicious emails.
  • Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to prevent unauthorised data disclosure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the banking industry.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security documentation.
  • Participate in security awareness training programs for banking employees.
  • Assist the Infrastructure team as needed to provide technical support in security technologies including, but not limited to Firewalls, Web Security services, network identity services, automated patching technologies, and remote access. )
