Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Expert to join the Security department of our Customer in Lugano. The role will be involved in cross-functional activities across the full security landscape, acting as a key liaison between GRC, Risk, IT, and Business teams. This position requires a solid understanding of both regulatory and technological contexts, along with a hands-on approach to security initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities Support risk assessment activities and ICT / cyber risk analysis Contribute to Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) processes and initiatives Support the implementation of security policies, standards, and regulations (e.g., banking regulations, security frameworks) into IT systems Collaborate with IT teams, Security teams, and Product Owners to ensure security best practices are embedded into projects Manage and monitor security-related tickets, ensuring proper tracking and timely resolutionSupport in compliance activities Participate in vulnerability management and remediation activities Qualifications and Technical Skills Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field Previous experience in Information Security / Cybersecurity Good understanding of IT architectures and information systems Experience or familiarity with GRC activities Knowledge of main security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, DORA) Understanding of risk management and compliance principles Ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders Good command of English Nice to Have Experience in the Financial Services / Banking sector Experience with ticketing and workflow management tools Security certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, CISM, CISA, Security+) Knowledge of vulnerability management or security operations Location Requirement This position is fully office-based, requiring a 5-day-per-week on-site commitment Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino/Switzerland or towns near the Swiss-Italian border If interested, please apply here!
