In this role, you will contribute your expertise to a variety of operational tasks – from analyzing and resolving IT security incidents to expanding, optimizing, and harmonizing our tool landscape, as well as participating in international projects. You will work with modern tools and methods in the cybersecurity field and actively contribute to shaping our global IT security strategy.

Area of activity

Conception, implementation and operation of needs-based IT security solutions for the harmonization and further development of the IT security landscape
Identification, assessment, prioritization and treatment of IT security risks , as well as the derivation of suitable measures to sustainably strengthen the security level.
Analysis and handling of IT security incidents as well as proactive evaluation of security-relevant logs
Participation in interdisciplinary projects with a focus on IT security, as well as coordination and collaboration with relevant departments.
Contributing to and continuously developing the global IT security strategy and the resulting IT security architecture
3rd-level support for the deployed IT security solutions and internal contact person for IT security-related questions

Requirements

Successfully completed studies in IT security, business informatics or a comparable field of study; alternatively, technical training with comparable qualifications.
Several years (at least 3 years) of professional experience in IT and IT security, ideally in corporate or larger company structures.
Solid knowledge in relevant areas of IT security, in particular Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR), Identity Security (ITDR), Cloud Security (CSPM/CWPP), Vulnerability and Exposure Management (CTEM), SIEM and SOAR
Experience in AI security, red teaming, and penetration testing is advantageous.
