As the Cyber Security Manager at SAGE, you will be responsible for identifying cyber risks and implementing both procedural and technical security controls to improve cyber resilience and drive change across the organisation. The role is also responsible for developing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) that conforms to customer and industry-based requirements and regulations. This includes managing relevant certifications and assessments programs such as DISP and ISO27001.
The change management aspect of this role identifies gaps and develops employee awareness for the adoption and effectiveness of security controls.
In the fast-evolving field of cyber security this role will maintain current knowledge of the latest threats and act as the subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Appropriate diploma or degree qualification or a minimum of 5 years verifiable cyber management experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of cyber security practices, principles and compliance.
Extensive experience of developing policy and driving positive change for the good of the business.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the business to identify, design and implement security controls which provide value driven risk reduction and alignment to compliance requirements.
Provide cyber security consultation to project and service delivery teams.
Conduct reviews and technical inspections to identify and mitigate potential security weaknesses and ensure that all security features applied to systems are implemented and functional.
Respond to cyber incidents and initiate appropriate actions and investigation.
Plan, maintain and test the cyber incident response plan.
Assess vendors and suppliers for compliance to information security requirements.
Develop cyber security awareness and capability through effective engagement and training programs across the business.
Develop and maintain trusted relationship with key stakeholders.
