£60,000-£70,000 per annum
Hybrid: Minimum of 2 days in the offer per week

The Cyber Security Officer will work across teams, implementing robust security measures, monitoring for threats, and ensuring compliance. Reporting to the Security, Risk, and Compliance Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in safeguarding our systems, mentoring junior analysts, and driving security improvements across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring, identifying, and responding to security incidents in real time, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Conducting internal technical and compliance audits to uphold security best practices and ISO 27001 compliance.
  • Collaborating with teams to enhance security posture, working on risk mitigation strategies and security initiatives.
  • Working with key stakeholders to advocate and implement security measures across the business.
  • Mentoring junior analysts, and guiding cybersecurity best practices.
  • Engaging with customers and auditors to assure them of SBS’s security standards and controls.
  • Supporting ongoing security projects and contributing to the continuous development of policies, procedures, and monitoring tools.
