We are looking for an ambitious Cyber Security Operations Engineer to join our growing Information and Cyber Security Team in our Headquarters, in Athens. Reporting to the Cybersecurity Architecture & Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following day-to-day Cybersecurity Operations. Responsibilities: Conduct daily monitoring, threat detection, and incident response; Coordinate onboarding efforts for new systems on the SIEM platform; Assist on creation of SIEM uses cases; Assist with Security Incident Management processes; Contribute to internal audits and help generate SOC metrics and reports; Coordinate penetration tests and analyze the results; Coordinate remediation efforts for vulnerabilities; Support the enforcement of Secure SDLC within development teams; Assist in the design and implementation of Information Security Operating Models (Technology Related); Assist in the daily operations of our Privilege Access Management solution; Identify, communicate and manage current and emerging security threats with relevant stakeholders; Assist in the implementation and operation of the Group’s Identity Governance (IDG); Assist in identifying and remediating excessive, orphaned, or inappropriate access; Support the enforcement of least privilege and role-based access (RBAC) principles; Collaborate with IT, HR, and application owners on identity and access governance activities; Assist with reporting, evidence collection, and audit support related to identity governance; Support integration between IAM / IGA platforms, PAM, and business applications; Assist in information security risk assessments to identify existing vulnerabilities and future threats; Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization; Participate in security-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope; Stay updated with the latest industry trends, threats, and regulatory changes; Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. BSc in Information Security or similar; At least 2 years of experience of dedicated Cyber Security experience relevant to the SOC Analyst, Cyber Security Engineer, Penetration Tester, Cyber Security Operations Specialist; Information Security Industry certifications i.e. CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Practical Network Penetration Tester (PNPT); Excellent organizational analytical and problem-solving skills; Fluency in English. Responsibilities
The Cyber Security Operations Engineer will conduct daily monitoring, threat detection, and incident response while coordinating onboarding efforts for new systems on the SIEM platform. They will also assist with security incident management processes and contribute to internal audits and SOC metrics generation.
