Description
Responsibilities
deliver cyber security operations services including security monitoring, detection, incident response, and vulnerability management capabilities
contribute to the response to cyber security incidents and the investigation of security breaches, and where necessary, direct University stakeholders on containment, eradication and remediation actions
provide strategic and/or operational information security advice to clients and ICT stakeholders
maintain an awareness of the University’s internal and external environment for emerging threats and provide advice the as appropriate
assess the vulnerability status of the University’s ICT environments in coordination with managed security service providers and validate the scope and priority of remediation requirements
coordinate the delivery of security assessment services to ICT and University-wide stakeholders using accredited third-party assessors
administer cyber security controls that are within the operational responsibility of ICT Cyber Security
