Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response, digital forensics, and threat intelligence including experience in detecting, analyzing, containing, and remediating cyber threats.
  • 4 years of people management experience.
  • Experience leading and managing the full incident response lifecycle, from initial triage and containment to eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in using a wide range of security tools, such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms, network analysis tools, and forensic software.
  • Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive incident response plans, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Understanding of current and emerging cyber threats, attack methodologies, and vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent leadership skills to build, mentor, and manage a team of incident responders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a goal for the cyber security practice, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cyber security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Manage practice-level budgets, financial performance, and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key internal and external clients, building and maintaining excellent relationships. Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and clients on cyber security matters.
  • Maintain and understand the cyber security landscape, including emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, and industry participation.
