ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Kent. In this pivotal role, you will help safeguard client information and enhance public safety through advanced cybersecurity measures.
This first-of-its-kind pilot scheme will involve countywide, in-person home visits to survivors of domestic abuse living in safe accommodation. You will provide specialist advice and support on cybersecurity—including risks linked to stalking—and promote improved digital safety. Areas of focus may include email monitoring, social media activity, internet history, and the use of smart devices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct detailed security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend tailored improvements in the homes of survivors of domestic abuse across Kent.
  • Develop and promote awareness of the pilot scheme, including outreach and engagement.
  • Collaborate effectively with partner agencies across the county.

  • Support the creation and refinement of security policies and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on emerging cyber threats and new technologies.
