JOB SUMMARY

The Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for protecting the organization’s digital assets from cyber threats, ensuring the security of sensitive information, and conducting audits to assess compliance with security standards and regulations. The specialist analyzes systems, detects vulnerabilities, and implements security measures. Respond to security incidents and requests by implementing the least open rule possible and stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Information Technology
  • 1-3 years of experience required as IT Security Analyst
  • Previous experience working with Networking; Firewalls; Microsoft Defender for Identity
  • Previous experience working with Cisco / Fortinet systems and understand the networking access control principles
  • Fluent in English (Mandatory);
  • Availability to travel abroad.
Responsibilities

Incident Response and Vulnerability Management

  • Responds to security incidents.
  • Responds to security requests (internal/external).
  • Identifies vulnerabilities and either resolves them personally or assists IT Operations in remediation.
  • Monitors security logs and alerts to detect suspicious activities, potential breaches, and audit trails.

Security Systems Management and Assessment

  • Proposes changes to security systems and configurations according to business and security requirements.
  • Installs, configures, and maintains security software and tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and anti-virus programs.
  • Conducts regular security assessments on systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities, potential security risks, and compliance gaps.

Security Training and Awareness

  • Conducts security training sessions and workshops to ensure that employees recognize and respond to security threats and comply with security policies.
