YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

The Cyber specialist’s primarily responsibilities include:

The F35 TSS Info Assurance Engineer will:

  • Conduct IAVM specific system security verification and validation audits on of deployed training system products;
  • Conduct system security verification and validation audits on of deployed systems;
  • Participate in Change Review Boards, offering SME guidance to managers regarding the status of system securityInvestigate and provide solutions for system security issues relating to all software and hardware installation and upgrade activities across the training enterprise;
  • Provide system security support for all software and hardware release activities;
  • Provide system security support for software and hardware deployment activities;
  • Prepare and publish system security status accounting reports as needed
  • Provide system security training as needed to training centre personnel;
  • Support the team by functioning as the primary contact for addressing and resolving system security related issues and problems..

To be successful in this role you will also have:

  • Previous experience working within the Defence Industry;
  • Able to maintain a DoD 8570 Level IAM-II certification;
  • Well developed knowledge in system security applicable portions of a Training System Problem Reporting (TSPR) System;
  • Strong skills and experience in the provision of training as necessary to applicable contractor and/or active duty personnel;
  • Familiar withsystem security applicable portions of a WindChill ™ based Training System Configuration Management System.
  • Substantial technical knowledge and experience in information system security in a Defence or similar security focused environment;
  • Sound understanding in US International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Australian export/import rules and French export/import rules - desireabl
