QUALIFICATIONS

Requried Qualification:

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
• Must be a US Citizen
• Able to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Experience with designing cybersecuirty strategies
• Experience with vulnerability scans

Peraton is seeking a Cyber System Engineer. The Cyber System Engineer acts as a lead security designer, provides expertise in all areas of cybersecurity.This positon will perform the following duties (but not limied too):

• Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs.
• Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and integration of a DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within computing, network, and enclave environments.
• Ensures that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure.
• Designs for program of record systems and special purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity.
• Directing the cybersecurity and IA teams in the delivery of information security, information security systems, and/or computer security requirements.
• Assessing system security.
• Performing vulnerability scans.
• Designing cybersecurity strategies and mitigating vulnerabilities
