About the role As the Cyber Awareness Specialist, your journey begins where you'll be part of a dynamic, cooperative environment with a strong focus on information security. Create new or identify existing awareness and training materials that are innovative, and appropriate for employees. Conduct interactive training exercises to create an effective learning environment. Evaluate the effectiveness and comprehensiveness of existing training programs. Support the design and execution of exercise scenarios. Write instructional materials (e.g., standard operating procedures, production manual) to provide detailed guidance to relevant business and support teams. Plan and coordinate the delivery of classroom techniques and formats for the most effective learning environment. Establish, maintain and expand an Induction programme for new users of technology services within Southern Cross, including up to three-month activity of onboarding. Own the framework and platform for learning and development in the Information Management and Information Security domains within Southern Cross. Ensure regular testing is performed for all users appropriate to and aligned with the changing threat landscape About you Highly creative, innovative, and self-motivated, with good knowledge of training concepts with demonstrated experience Designing and running awareness or behavioural change campaigns Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously Strong organisational and presentation skills IT literate with an understanding of information and security needs for users of technology Our values who we are and what’s important to us.
