We are currently looking for a Cyber-worthiness Principal Consultant to join the cyber team within our growing protective security capability group. This role is based out of Newcastle, NSW
As a Cyber-worthiness principal consultant, your responsibilities may include:
Working with our client or a Task Lead to plan the resource management of the cyber-worthiness team across the range of projects within the client’s portfolio based upon task priorities and available budget.
Providing regular reporting across all cyber related tasks within the portfolio.
Working with the client to improve the cyber-worthiness culture across the client organisation.
Leading or be part of a team who are developing, implementing and maintaining the cyber-worthiness program for the multiple defence platforms our client manages.
Working with stakeholders to achieve certification and accreditation, including international partners, DASA and various other certification and accreditation authorities and air force.
Participating in the continuous skills development programme within our protective security capability group.
To be successful in the role of a Cyber-worthiness Consultant you will need to bring with you:
Extensive experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a defence domain.
Demonstrated understanding of defence cyber-worthiness.
Demonstrated understanding of ICT Accreditation processes for platform and system acquisition and sustainment.
Demonstrated understanding of the impact of CASA or DASA requirements upon platform accreditation
Extensive experience leading teams, including resource management, capability development and career planning.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
The confidence to be a self-starter.
Applicants will also need to hold an existing Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance of at least NV2 and preferably PV. This role has an ITAR requirement.
