Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst
Location: Offutt AFB, NE
Clearance: Secret (Required at Start)

About the Role:
Join our team to provide critical cybersecurity support for a high-impact Department of Defense (DoD) mission at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a key role in planning and executing Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments, ensuring compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and safeguarding mission-critical IT systems. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity tools and contribute to the security of a global IT enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing and analysis of applicable STIGs to ensure system compliance.
  • Schedule and implement STIGs, monitoring quarterly revalidation schedules and emerging changes.
  • Monitor cybersecurity risks and threats to the IT environment, providing proactive solutions.
  • Support the development of implementation plans for transitioning systems to a cloud environment.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings to leadership, facilitate cybersecurity collaboration meetings, and document action items.
  • Develop technical reports and artifacts to support cybersecurity compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in Air Force or industry cybersecurity standards, or equivalent experience with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with:
  • Endpoint Security
  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Threat Hunting and Risk Analysis
  • Intrusion Detection Systems
  • Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) STIGs
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) preferred.
  • Clearance: Active Secret security clearance required at the start of employment.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
