Position Overview: As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will support the cybersecurity team in protecting the organization’s information systems and data from cyber threats. Your role will involve monitoring network traffic, analyzing security alerts, and assisting in incident response activities. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity and have a strong desire to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT support, or a related field. Internships or academic projects related to cybersecurity are valuable.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and security concepts. Familiarity with security tools and software is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues in achieving common security goals.

Responsibilities
  • Implement, administer, and use cybersecurity tools, systems, and applications. Technologies will include endpoint protection, intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, vulnerability management tools, and forensic utilities.
  • Develop cybersecurity policies, plans, standards, and guidelines.
  • Monitor and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to validate that security controls are implemented and operating effectively within systems and the IT infrastructure.
  • Conduct user security awareness training and outreach.
