Your tasks

You will act as the central point of contact for all first-line information security issues and will be primarily responsible for increasing the security and resilience of our ICT systems. Your tasks will include:

• You manage anomaly detection in collaboration with an external Security Operations Center (SOC), analyze and evaluate incidents, coordinate cyber incident response, and manage the remediation of vulnerabilities (patch management).
• You are responsible for the management and operational control of our security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, VPN/SASE/CASB) as well as the control of security-relevant configurations (e.g. end devices, firewalls, networks).
• You will independently manage our Digital Operational Resilience Testing Program, including the coordination of penetration tests and security audits.
• You will contribute to the development and improvement of security measures based on the current threat landscape (Threat Modelling / Threat Intelligence) and regulatory requirements.
• You will support our CISO in creating training and awareness programs and accompany project and change management in the introduction and further development of ICT systems and applications.

Your profile

• You have a completed degree or training in the ICT field and bring more than 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, ideally in a regulated market, perhaps even from the blockchain/DLT environment or the banking/FinTech sector.
• You have sound knowledge and practical experience with security tooling (SIEM, EDR, DLP, VPN/SASE) as well as with security in the AWS cloud environment and SaaS applications.
• You have already successfully collaborated with an external Security Operations Center (SOC).
• You combine strategic vision with a strong hands-on mentality – you not only enjoy planning, but also actively implement your concepts in day-to-day business.
• In addition to your highly structured and independent work style, you impress with your communication skills: You are able to explain complex relationships clearly and comprehensibly to colleagues from other fields.
• You have fluent English skills and good German skills.
