COMPANY BACKGROUND

The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) was created by and for members and operates as a member-owned non-profit entity. FS-ISAC provides vital information to the financial services sector to assist financial firms in protecting their critical infrastructure assets and confidential information. FS-ISAC is incorporated in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Cybersecurity Community Manager, Germany is a member-facing role where expertise in the finance sector and in cybersecurity will be essential as the manager will be expected to form key relationships with c-suite executives at member firms and integrate FS-ISAC services and capabilities where appropriate. The Cybersecurity Community Manager, Germany will serve as an ambassador of the brand and the work FS-ISAC provides to its members, engaging with internal and external stakeholders and building a network of financial sector cyber leaders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Native or fluency in German is required. Please do not apply if you cannot communicate fluently and with ease, both verbally and in written form, in German.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a representative for FS-ISAC in Germany, engaging bilaterally with financial institutions and participating in local industry events and meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and buy in with key member stakeholders including CISOs and other executives at C suite level.
  • Retain existing members and drive member-engagement by nurturing and growing the regional FS-ISAC communities. This includes ownership of local member meetings, and a strong contribution to the EMEA Summit.
  • Become a recognized member of the local cyber and resilience communities, and provide thought leadership
  • Drive the growth of the FS-ISAC membership by working closely with the business development team and providing support when needed to show value for membership, as a security practitioner and local representative.
  • Develop and build partnerships and relationships with regulators and other government agencies, industry associations, law enforcement and other key regional stakeholders to drive membership.
  • Engage in public-private partnerships in Germany as appropriate, pulling in internal expertise where needed
  • Collaborate closely and effectively with the FS-ISAC Global Intelligence Office (GIO) and FS-ISAC Resilience team for topics relevant to Germany.
