Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Beyond Finance is growing its security team and it’s capabilities for safeguarding our infrastructure. As a result, we’re excited to be adding a Cybersecurity Engineer to the team. This person plays an imperative role on the team by maintaining and enhancing our security posture for our cloud infrastructure, creates alerts for internal issues, and responds to mission critical incidents. While a cybersecurity engineer has their main responsibility that they take ownership of, they also help the rest of the team with other areas including, but not limited to vulnerability management, GRC, AppSec, and much more. If you’re interested in joining an organization with an awesome security team that believes in driving new ideas and operating as an owner, come join us!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using Datadog, Wiz and other security tools.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for interactions with the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to implement and refine cloud security measures, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and assist with penetration testing coordination.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents and remediation steps.
  • Provide security insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders based on incident analysis and industry best practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
