Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems to protect our organization’s computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.

SKILLS

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of network and system security, including, but not limited to firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze security data and identify patterns or anomalies that indicate potential threats
  • GPO Management: Experience in creating, managing, and maintaining Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security settings, deploy software, and configure user environments within an Active Directory environment a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent knowledge and experience in risk assessment, threat detection, vulnerability and governance. Ability to quickly identify and resolve security issues
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to spot potential vulnerabilities and threats
  • Communication: Solid written and verbal communication skills to explain security measures and protocols to non-technical staff
  • Proactivity: Demonstrates strong self-motivation, taking initiative to complete tasks and achieve goals without requiring external supervision.
Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment: Identifying vulnerabilities in the organization’s infrastructure and assessing potential risks to data and systems
  • Security Architecture Design: Developing and implementing security frameworks and architectures that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements
  • Support: Provide operational support for new and existing security products
  • Incident Response: Responding to security breaches and incidents in real-time, conducting forensic analysis, and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences. Perform root cause and security analyses across various platforms, systems, and devices
  • Implementing Security Measures: Deploy security measures such as encryption, authentication, and access controls to safeguard applications (e.g. SSO, SAML, DUO)
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitoring security systems and networks for suspicious activity and ensuring that security measures are up to date
  • Collaboration: Working with other IT professionals, such as network engineers and system administrators, to ensure a cohesive security strategy across the organization
  • Training and Awareness: Educating employees about security best practices and promoting a culture of security awareness within the organization
  • Protecting Data: define access, identifying vulnerabilities, and applying cybersecurity best practices to mitigate risk.
  • Additional Duties/Adaptability: Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team and organization as needed.
